Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the Vela Films website and the basis on which we discuss and provide wedding film services. Vela Films is a business name operated by Liam Roadley as a sole trader (ABN 99 167 964 677), based in South-East Queensland.
Please read these terms. By using this website or sending an enquiry, you agree to them.

About this website
This website shows our work and explains our services. The information on it is general. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or always up to date.
Nothing on this website is a binding offer or a quote. Pricing, availability and inclusions are confirmed in writing when you book.
Enquiries and bookings
You can send us an enquiry through the form on the contact page or by email. An enquiry is not a booking.
A booking is only confirmed once:
- we have agreed the date, services and fee in writing
- you have signed a booking agreement, and
- you have paid any deposit we ask for.
Your separate booking agreement governs the wedding film service itself – including deposits, payment, cancellation, what is delivered, and timeframes. If anything in that agreement differs from these website terms, the booking agreement applies.
Your content
If you send us information or files through this website or by email, you confirm you have the right to share them. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, such as your wedding date and venue.
Our work and copyright
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Vela Films owns the copyright in the films and other material we create. We grant you a personal licence to keep, view and share your wedding film for your own use.
We may use excerpts of your film to promote our work – for example, on this website or social media – unless you ask us in writing not to. We will always treat your film with care.
The text, images, films and design on this website belong to Vela Films. Please do not copy or reuse them without our permission.
Website availability
We try to keep the website available and working, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of faults. We may change or remove parts of it at any time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website, including from any error in the information on it. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply.
Privacy
We handle your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
